Cool off when the weather is hot! From May to September, escape to the oasis of one of Columbia’s 23 swimming holes. Each outdoor pool features a wading pool, lounge chairs, umbrellas, a grassy area and shower facilities. Other amenities, which vary at each location, include sand volleyball, beaches, spas, covered picnic tables and snack bars.

For Package Plan or Outdoor Pool members, membership includes recreational swimming – early-bird, mid-day and evening lap swimming – and aqua aerobics at 23 outdoor pools.

New at Hopewell – Columbia’s first outdoor SplashPad, where your children will love to run and splash amidst the dancing spouts and sprays; a 75 foot twisting, swirling water slide for children 48 " or taller; a mini slide for the little ones and more parking and an enhanced bathhouse and lounge area.

Outdoor pool programs and activities available for an extra fee include lessons, parties, rentals and the Columbia Neighborhood Swim League (CNSL).
