Get directions to YTC at the Barn

Hanging out at the Youth and Teen Center (YTC) at The Barn is a fun, safe way for teens and pre-teens to socialize and participate in recreational and educational programs. Columbia and Howard County kids ages 9 to 18 are welcomed year round with after-school, summer time and some weekend activities and programs that are designed to promote self-esteem and to develop life skills.

YTC @ The Barn is a multi-purpose, two-story facility where teens can access a computer lab, watch movies or play Wii even XBOX on a large flat screen TV or enjoy billiard tables, air hockey, ping pong table and various board games in the recreation room. Upstairs features a mini-gym for basketball, volleyball and other games and activities, as well as a snack bar run by the entrepreneurial program

The Drop-In Recreation Program: The Drop-In Recreation Program: Mon-Fri, 2-6:30PM (School Year), Registration required for The Drop-In. Serving all of Howard County and Columbia. The program operates year round, after school, during the summer and some weekends. Recreational and educational programs are designed to promote self-esteem and develop relevant life skills. Check YTC Monthly Activities calendar for the special activity planned for each day. Like us on FB Open to registered YTC participants 9-18 years old. Registration fee, $25.

Creative art projects brought to you by the Columbia Art Center. Registration fee - $25/$10 materials fee. Fees are per class. 

For Girls Only Club For G.I.R.L.S (Growing Inspiring Respectful young Ladies for Success) Only Club. Become a FGO member. Enjoy monthly empowerment meetings designed to increase self-worth and awareness. Participate in college tours, go to concerts and visit museums. It's all about you. FGO meets every 4th Thursday of the month 5-6:30pm

Rentals: YTC at The Barn is available for teen birthday parties or for teen organizations needing meeting space. Reservations should be made at least one month in advance. A security deposit is due at rental contract signing. The YTC team will assist you in customizing birthday parties and other events. Meeting space is offered free to youth groups. YTC does not rent to individuals who want to host profit-making events, regardless of whether such events are teen related. Call 410-992-3726 to find out more.
