National Night Out Against Crime is Tuesday, August 3

Howard County residents are invited to join the thousands of other communities across America in supporting this crime prevention effort.

Residents will be asked to turn on all outside lights and spend time at neighborhood events and block parties

Safety tips are provided by the Howard County Department of Police.

The Welcome Center keeps the spirit of Columbia alive! We're here to help you understand and appreciate the unique features of Columbia and the Columbia Association.

At the Welcome Center, you'll find a video introduction to Columbia, community information, a gift book, city maps and Columbia souvenirs.

We invite you to stop by at any time and visit our Welcome Center — on the first floor of CA headquarters — for any additional information about the benefits of living, playing and working in Columbia.

Lakefront Summer Festival

The Columbia Association's Lakefront Summer Festival features free outdoor concerts and movies throughout the summer. Friday nights also feature Dancin' Under the People Tree. Everything takes place at Downtown Columbia Lakefront - Lake Kittamaqundi off Little Patuxent Parkway. Parking is free. No glass containers or alcoholic beverages are permitted.
