Strength Training / Equipment

Columbia Association's three fitness facilities offer many options for those seeking a varied and challenging workout. Strength training and equipment are first-come, first-served. For circuit weight training, those completing a continuous circuit have priority. Complete one set per machine followed by 30 seconds of low-impact exercise on cardio board. Total circuit time is 15 minutes.


Columbia Athletic Club

  • 3,400 square feet of weight workout space
  • 2,000 square feet of Selectorized/cardio workout space
  • Cybex, Arc Trainers
  • Upright and recumbent bikes
  • Elliptical machines
  • Rowing machines
  • Stair steppers
  • Seated steppers
  • Upper Body Ergometer
  • Plate-loaded strength, flat benches, squat and power racks
  • 3- to 150-pounds dumbbells
  • Medicine balls
  • Bosu balance trainers
  • Cable cross
  • Circuit weight training equipment interspersed with cardio boards, light weights and medicine balls

Supreme Sports Club
  • 2,400 square feet of weight workout space
  • 5,000 square feet of Selectorized/cardio workout space
  • Cybex, Life Fitness and Magnum Selectorized weight-stack equipment
  • Dozens of units for training the whole body

Columbia Gym
  • 1,000 square feet of weight workout space
  • Cybex, Life Fitness and Magnum Selectorized weight-stack equipment
  • Dozens of units for training the whole body
  • 2,000 square feet of Selectorized/cardio workout space
  • Cybex, Hammer Strength and Ivanko and German Made free weight equipment
  • 5- to 130-pound dumbbells
