Dance

Central MD Youth Ballet offers dance options at Columbia Gym.

The following groups are available.

  • Pre-Ballet: For ages 3-5. Dance with an emphasis on creativity, balletic vocabulary, posture and motor movement skills.
  • Beginning Ballet: For ages 5-7. Basic ballet technique, alignment, stretching and musicality.
  • Ballet I-II-III: For ages 7-13. Strong emphasis on ballet technique, alignment, stretching and musicality.
  • Adult Ballet: For ages teen to adult. Designed to challenge the beginner through the experienced dancer. Emphasis on ballet technique, alignment and stretch.
